Capt. Ravi V. Peris is a Master Mariner who has studied in South Shield U.K. and obtained his degree in Nautical Science. Capt. Ravi V. Peris has 14 years experience in commanding various size of very large crude carriers and ultra large crude carriers, including the Steam Ship Sea Splendour the third largest vessel afloat.

He left sailing in 2004 and started up barge owning and Operation Company in the year 2006. The company has grown from one vessel to three vessels during this time he has done his ISM Internal Auditor Course and is qualified as an Internal Auditor of the ISM Code.

With his vast experience on tankers he frequently conducts Pre-Sale inspections of vessel. He has stood by new building of very large crude carriers of Samsung Shipyard in Korea and has experience of construction of new ships.

Mr. Vinod Parkkot is the other director of the company, with over 30 years of experience to his credit. His active participation in day to day functioning of the company help Fairway Barge Operators Pvt. Ltd. to achieve greater success.
